2012 SCHEDULE
(times and schedule are subject to change)
PUJOL (Nashville) | 12AM

Voted by SPIN as one of the "5 Hot Nashville Bands You Need to Hear Now" PUJOL delivers!
THE BIG SLEEP (NYC) | 11PM

“The Big Sleep is a New York City-based three-piece. It’s just drums, guitar, and bass, but oh how the members put it all together—and their music doesn’t sound like Mogwai, Russian Circles, or Godspeed You Black Emperor. They pick up where the Verve could have gone with the wig-outs on its first two records, or where shoegazers like Slowdive only hinted at going. Throw in some heavy riffs and layers of My Bloody Valentine-drizzled haze, and that’s the sound of the Big Sleep’s
YOU, YOU'RE AWESOME | 10PM

With influences including everything from DJ Mr. Scruff to Orbital to Duke Ellington, YYA’s music echoes the sentiment of playtime, stuffed animals, hand-drawn worlds made of shapes and colored innocence with a touch of pleasantly weird history. - CityBeat
THE TURBO FRUITS (Nashville)

Another awesome band voted by SPIN as one of the "5 Hot Nashville Bands You Need to Hear Now"
THE TILLERS

"In their lives, and in their music, all three band members embrace a return to simplicity, a longing for freedom, and hope for the future. It is fitting then that these American Characters would devote a song to Highway 50, a road that, like the country it traverses, has seen its share of hardship and history and still keeps pressing forward."
-Tom Brokaw American Character Along Highway 50
R. RING (Dayton)

R. Ring is Kelley Deal & Mike Montgomery. It is voices, guitars, and keys. It is sparse, chaotic, abrasive and lulling, often within the same song. It is new. It is, at the very least, a stark departure from the music they make in their other bands.
ECLIPSE

This Cincinnati based seven-piece ensemble are versatile style-mashers as they combine hip-hop, jazz, rock, funk, latin, classical & world music into their sound. You can hear all of this on their recently released second album, "Around the World", which was selected as top local album of 2011 by Cincinnati's Citybeat.
JAKE SPEED & THE FREDDIES

For the past eight years, Jake Speed has hitchhiked down Cincinnati's American folk, bluegrass, and ragtime music highway with his award-winning band, The Freddies. Jake Speed & the Freddies are a four-piece band made out of guitar, mandolin, tenor guitar, and upright bass (plus harmonica, kazoo, washboard, and watering can). Their traditional and original songs leap right out of Depression-era freight trains and right into Ohio River steamboats. Their near-vaudeville style stage shows and quick-witted charisma rope in loyal fans of new and old generations alike.
CLETUS ROMP

Cletus Romp bring their own blend of swampy, backwoods ruckus to the table. They unapologetically draw inspiration anywhere from Drive by Truckers, Tom Waits, CCR and Motorhead to the local junkyard.
